Izmir years: Loved being a child in the 70's where playing took place outdoors, most holidays in family farm, summers by the seaside. My first cooking experience; aged 4, made crepe suzettes for my little sister. Years 11-18 in ACI (SEV Izmir) where she met many of her sisters for life. Loved athletics, Ran 50 M and 100 M hurdles for my school.

Istanbul years: Years 18-31. University and corporate life years. Bogazici University, after Tourism AA and  Business BA, realised Information sector was her thing. I enjoyed rowing on Bosphorus and also became  a STEP Reebook teacher. Worked through the emerging markets boom in the 90's (Reuters, Info Trace, Mediacom). Fell in love with my  husband now and started having babies:)

London years: 31-now. used this move to do the things I loved. Studied Art, Design and Innovation (Central Saint Martins and Goldsmiths College). My passion for information and communication was always the core of all practices. I've been involved in numerous  sustainability projects and built my company LOOP Stories in 2018. Since then the mission of Educating about Health (Planet, Local communities and Bodies ) for the young and the young at hearts still persists. However, after my sudden health problem , I have decided to qualify in the field of Nutritional Medicine to serve.

WHY DID I decide to become a Nutritional Therapist?

5 years ago, I started having IBS symptoms (bloating, indigestion, period of constipation and diarrhoea , feeling depressed, foggy brain) and wanted to investigate the causes. I tried both ancient and allopathic medicine routes and was puzzled with the information overload. After being diagnosed with SIBO, I have almost got lost in the rabbit hole. Social media was not helping, it was loud and confusing which led me to study Nutritional Medicine and aim to help others like me in the end. It was painful but very rewarding to be able to find my vocation.

Who do I want to help?

I would like to create Sustainable protocols for clients who would like a lifestyle change rather than a quick fix.In most cases, there will be a life changing improvement once we put the puzzle pieces together and define basic deficiencies. However, like everything in life we need persistency to make the results last longer and make habits. I am not looking for hard-workers and  back breakers, on contrary I am looking out for clients who would like to do more with less. My aim would be to promote enjoying good food with active lifestyles for the Young and the Young at hearts who want to beat fatigue and stress. I would like them to have metabolically flexible and resilient mind and bodies. One-to-ones will be starting with a 90 minutes consultation when a detailed health assessment takes place. I will working towards the clients goal(s) and once achieved I would still love to be on the other side of the line.

With my site-specific talks, I aim to educate my crowd about the effects of nutrition, sleep and stress on epigenetics. I have not decided my favourite crowd yet but I would like to talk to Business professionals about choosing the right breakfast and lunch nutrients, Students about skin health and good nutrients choices for exams and moms about nutrients for hormonal and mental health.

With my Instagram and Blog/free newsletters, I would love to provide the health conscious followers with unbiased and  good science-backed information as well as anecdotal data.
